Tamil film Members of the Problematic Family shines at 76th Berlin International Film Festival
The Tamil feature Members of the Problematic Family (Sikkalana Kudumbathin Uruppinarhal), directed by debutant R. Gowtham, has been selected for the prestigious Forum section of the 76th Berlin International Film Festival, marking the first time a debut film by a Tamil Nadu director has achieved this honor. It is only the fourth Tamil film ever to screen in the Berlinale Forum, following titles such as Alaipayuthey, Paruthiveeran and Kottukkaali, underlining the growing global recognition of Tamil cinema.
