Eid in the Park Cancelled in Birmingham Due to Rain — Prayers Moved Indoors
Heavy rainfall on Friday, June 6, 2025, forced the cancellation of Birmingham’s popular outdoor Eid ul Adha ‘Eid in the Park’ at Small Heath Park. Instead, Green Lane Masjid and Community Centre organized five staggered indoor prayer sessions within the mosque, implementing a one-way system and urging worshippers to walk to the venue where possible
